A partnership characterised by shared objectives: ability to innovate and durability over time of equipment and project results. DeWalt will provide 100 drills for the preparation of the race courses: 60 already for the Audi FIS Ski World Cup Finals next March, while the other 40 will be delivered for the World Championships in 2021.
After these sporting events, these tools will remain as a ‘technical’ legacy to the local area and will be used to prepare the slopes during the following winter seasons.
“This partnership was born with a long-term vision, in full harmony with our mission” said Valerio Giacobbi, CEO of Fondazione Cortina 2021. “With DeWalt by our side as Technical Supplier, we are sure we will not only prepare the slopes in the best way possible to host the World Championships, but we will also help upgrade the equipment that will remain as a legacy to the technicians, investing in the future of tourism and sport in Cortina”.
“We are proud to have been chosen to help professionals prepare such an important event for the local area itself and for international exposure” affirmed Stefano Residori, Brand & Marketing Manager of DeWalt. “It’s a proof that our cordless power tools are recognised as the top of the range for intensive use in any conditions. We have established a long-term partnership with Fondazione Cortina that will enable us to be present on the slopes for many years, to identify more with the world of skiing and sport in general and get closer to it”.
